Our Mission

Webber’s Furniture is a family owned business dedicated to providing the finest selection of affordable, fashionable home furnishings at a value and customer service level unequaled in the marketplace. While always focusing on our customers, we wish to provide an environment for our associates that is fair, supportive and that provides an opportunity for them to achieve their own personal goals.

History

Jack and Mayme Webber began this business in 1929 by selling new and used furniture from their downtown location in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. He became renowned as the furniture expert, offering high-quality furniture and low prices, and his customer base grew. As their business grew, they opened their all new store on the north end of Scottsbluff in 1940. In December 1950 the store burned to the ground. Determined not to give up, Jack and Mayme rebuilt the business into the areas largest quality furniture store.

In the 1970's and 1980’s, Jack and Mayme’s daughter and son-in-law Lee and Dorothea Smith took over ownership of the business. Jon and Karen Smith have continued their father's and grandfather's tradition of selling quality furniture at low prices along with exceptional service to their valued customers.

Today

Today Webber’s Furniture is western Nebraska’s largest furniture store. Located at the north end of Broadway in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, the showroom has 50,000 sq./ft. of furniture on display. You can find famous brands like Broyhill, Lane, La-Z-Boy, Sealy, Serta and many more national furniture brand names. Webber’s has a Broyhill Home Furnishings Gallery, La-Z-Boy Comfort Studio, Signature Design Gallery and Pro-Sleep Mattress Center to help you make the best selection of your home furnishings needs. We serve western Nebraska, eastern Wyoming and parts of northern Colorado.
